The Porta-Tracker is a two-axis automatic solar tracker that will automatically find the position of the sun and orient 1 or 2 flat PV panels to continuously face the sun between sunup and sundown. High-sensitivity photo-sensors allow the sun to be tracked even in partly-cloudy conditions. The Porta-Tracker will move itself to a Park position (panels horizontal and locked) at night and when traveling. A built-in wind sensor will park the tracker during harmful high winds.  The basic Porta-Tracker includes custom mounting brackets for 1 or 2 175-watt PV panels, and requires only a two-wire connection to your battery. A simple platform allows mounting to the roof of an RV or Mobile Home. The Porta-Tracker automatically positions itself no matter what time of the year or what position the RV or Mobile Home is facing.  A wireless remote-control allows easy deployment or parking of the tracker.  The Porta-Tracker operates in any coach oreintation - the coach does not have to be level.
